Mass Flow Rate!

by Quang Hoang on 2010-06-01

Hi!
I have some problems with Mass Flow Rate Units. I don't Know how to convert between t/h ( Mass Flow Rate ) and Gallons/minute or m/s or... Because I must evaluate the mass flow rate of 2 different devices. One use t/h unit and one use m/s or Gallons/minute unit... Could you tell me How must I do to compare them?
Thanks!

I need some help. I need to answer the following: I need to know how to convert 5 feet per second into gallons minute or milliliters per minute. I realize those are two different fields but thats why I'm having problems. The answer I come up with seems impossible.(6.885 gpm) .75 inch schedule 80 pipe & 5 ft/sec velocity Any help would be appericated, Bob
